A day on the ricefields

Today I went to check our ricefields, which are dry now, because they wait for the cultivation. This trip was a day long, because this fields are 160 hectares and I walked. We will have a lot of works with this, that they will be an amazing bird paradise. This fields are the best when they are flooded (May-), but today were good as well. I could observ hundreds of reed buntings, a lot of great white egrets, hen harriers, buzzards, a few white-tailed eagles, greylag geese, mallards, my first golden plovers in this year and many lapwings.
